Notice the lovely chandelier!
We are finally making a huge effort to complete my glass lab. When I bought the school house 2 years ago, the room was full of random stuff the seller left behind (left), there were holes in the walls and the cement walls were crumbling. After pitching all the "stuff" and patching the walls, our next task was to sand the windows. They have suffered a lot of water damage over the years, and the original varnish is pretty weathered.

I just spent the week in Milwaukee at the Bead & Button Show teaching the fused glass watch class and selling my beads and jewelry. It was an exhausting week, but oh so much fun!
The weekend of the show marked the beginning of the Wisconsin floods.
On the way back to Madison on Sunday night, we drove under this wall cloud.
As we drove into the storm, it rained so hard for so long that water was rushing down the shoulder like rivers and the corn fields turned into lakes in a matter of minutes.

We had a great time at the Art Tour last weekend. Visitors from as far as Appleton (hello ladies) stopped by to visit. It was great fun!
Now that the Art Tour is done, I can focus on the Bead & Button Show in Milwaukee. I am busy making beads, watch bands, rings and silver embellishments for the Charm Necklaces. To the left is a sample of my new Sentiment Rings. They are hand forged sterling silver with (or without) a sentiment stamped on the outside. What do you think? July 19 . 07 Many of you have been requesting that I list my finished jewelry online for purchase. I have started doing just that. If you go to my "beads" page, you will not only see individual beads and bead sets, you will find completed jewelry! Thank you for your support!
May 30 . 07 It is approaching a year since I purchased Peerless Color Lab. When I purchased the company, I purchased all of the inventory. Some of that inventory included 30-40 year old dry sheets of color that have not been available for about that long! They are still in fabulous condition...as you know, Peerless Colors will NEVER dry up or deteriorate with age. I have created 6 Limited Collection sets that will soon be available online.

Wow...has it really been 2.5 months since I last updated my blog? Time sure does fly. My folks used to tell me that the older you got, the faster time went. Now I know what they meant!

Feb 27 . 07 Keep your eyes open for the new movie HoneyDippers with Danny Glover to be debuting this Fall. The producers called. They wanted Peerless Watercolors to be a product in the General Store window. Keep your eyes peeled!
