Leani Schoor Leani earned her MA degree specializing in fibers. She has taught, studied and developed skills in many areas. It wasn't until she found beading that she became fascinated with the endless creative possibilities. Leani finds her inspiration from nature. To express what she has observed takes more than one medium or technique. She prefers to merge the techniques to achieve the full representation in her works of art. **Studio 2154**
Chris Mode Chris studied art at UW-Madison where she received her degree in Art Education. Although she never persued a job with the public schools, she set her sights on building businesses. She currently runs Creative Mode, a rubber stamp company, Peerless Watercolor company and two local trade shows. Jennifer Lindskoog

Jennifer grew up in Marin County, California, surrounded by beauty and was drawn to landscape photography. After moving to Orange County, California, she was kept intensely busy with a career in law offices management. In addition to her day job, she had the honor of assisting a dear friend who is a professional photographer of Hollywood movie stars. She was fortunate enough to travel with her to photograph events and assisted her in studio photo shoots of many famous people. Her friend taught her to quickly “frame” a photo with an eye for all background, size and format. Jennifer will forever be grateful to her friend for this experience as well as her friendship.
Although Jennifer’s formal career is a Law Office Administrator, she always maintains an eye for a “photo opportunity”. ** Creative Mode - Door Creek School House **

Sandy Shekels Sandy Shekels has been working as both a fine artist and graphic artist for 20 years. She graduated from UWSP with an art major – specialty in visual arts, emphasis in graphic design, in 1989. She had been working as an art director for several years before helping launch Studio X Marketing and Design, a full-service ad agency in Wausau, WI. This last spring, she sold her part of that business, relocated to Madison and is starting her own studio – Sundog Studio – specializing in graphic design, murals and fine art.
She enjoys the world of advertising and visually problem-solving for her clients, but always makes time and comes back to painting and drawing. Her media of choice is watercolors, but recently has added a larger scale of work to her repertoire, which she is thoroughly enjoying... children's rooms murals and design.

Narra Smith-Cox

I threw my first pot more than 30 years ago, but it is only in recent years I’ve been able to get back to wheel-throwing -- and I’m loving it. For me, wheel throwing is about playing with balance – being in control and pushing limits, having a plan and being spontaneous, creating functional forms and pots with a bit of whimsy. My “hand-in-hand” play in the clay takes place at Lakeside Pottery Studio in Madison. ** Creative Mode - Door Creek School House **

Karen Coyier

PORCELAIN  BY  KAREN  RAE - My passion is porcelain.  I have been throwing porcelain on the wheel since 1980, mainly as a hobby and to satisfy my own personal quest.  I've had the advantage of some great teachers and fellow potters to inspire and challenge me, and have reached the point of wanting to share my creations.
The pedestal dishes evolved from my need for a centerpiece to hold various things - a simple bowl of fruit to a spectacular container for floral displays.  They're a bowl - but more, with style and presence.  I hope you find them as appealing as I do.

They are also currently creating scarves to partner with lonely mittens. Come and find your unique pair of LaNanna’s Woolie’s. As our first customer wrote from New York City, “My hands have never felt so loved.”
